What are your employer’s obligations to accommodate your disability?

If your employer knows or believes that you have a disability which may require an accommodation, your employer must engage in an “interactive process” with you. The “interactive process” requires your employer to communicate with you one on one in order to determine what would be an appropriate accommodation for your particular disability. If your employer failed to do this, you may be able to obtain compensation.
